No server backend, no user database, no recurring cloud compute. Sync rides your own private iCloud container, and this site is static hosting that costs nothing. There is no bill to pass on to you, which is exactly why “free forever” is credible.

Is it truly free? No ads, no future subscription?

Yes. Jaunty has no ads, no hidden Pro tier and no course limit. It costs about US$99 a year to run, is funded by donations, and this site costs $0.

Where is my schedule stored?

On your iPhone. Parsing happens on device; sync (on by default) runs through your own private iCloud database, which even the developer cannot read. Nothing is ever sent to a Jaunty server, because there are no Jaunty servers.

Which universities are supported?

Choose one of the eight UGC-funded universities, or Others for your college or university. Set the term dates to match your timetable.

What happens if portal scanning fails?

It teaches instead of guessing: you see exactly what was read, one tap hands it to an editable plain-text sheet, and nothing saves until you confirm. Manual entry is always one tap away.

How long does setup take?

One screenshot, one review, done: a full semester lands in under five minutes. Paste text, an .ics file, or thirty seconds of typing work just as well, and nothing saves until you have confirmed it.
